We at Diver Dan’s look forward to helping you get trained in the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty. This course is designed to be an introduction to wreck diving and help develop the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary for wreck diving. In order to take the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty, you must first already be a PADI Advanced Diver (or equivalent), and you must be 15 years old. It is required that you are certified as a PADI Deep Diver and is HIGHLY recommended that you take PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver.

Training Fees

The total training fees are $225.00. The fees are broken down as follows:

$25.00 Registration Fee
$200.00 Instructor / Certification Fee

Class Schedule

The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty is a two week program consisting of one classroom session, one pool session, One day of ocean diving (two dives) in Monterey, and two days (5 dives) diving wrecks in San Diego.

*In order to complete your wreck certification you will need to sign up for our San Diego Trip aboard the Humboldt July 20/21, 2019.

What You Will Need To Buy

Before the class begins you will need the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Manual.
Before the class session you MUST have read the manual, and have completed the Knowledge Review (located in the back of the manual).

In addition to the manual you will need to purchase the boat dives that will be held in San Diego aboard The Humbolt.

What You May Rent

You may rent some of the SCUBA equipment from our rental department. This includes your wetsuit, hood, regulator with alternate, weight belt, BCD, and tanks.

Medical Concerns or Questions?

If you are currently under the care of a medical doctor, or have a pre-existing medical condition that requires permission from a physician, you will need to have a signed medical release form from your doctor before you can participate in any in-water activities.

Diver Dan’s puts safety first.  If any customer, while enrolled in a class of Diver Dan’s , is observed to be under the influence of alcohol,  marijuana, or drugs; he or she will be asked to leave the class immediately.  The customer will forfeit all fees paid.  There will be no refunds.

To obtain a medical release form and view some conditions that would require a doctors release, download the PADI Medical Release Form to review before coming to class.

Cancellation Policy

No store fees will be refunded once class has begun. Classes are transferable for up to one year from original start date.

Classes scheduled less than 24 hours prior to the class start time are not guaranteed. Please call the store for more details.

$200.00 –   Instructor / Certification Fee

* There will be additional Boat Fees for the San Diego Wreck Dives

 

When you sign-up for the class the Store Registration Fee will be collected.  Class size is limited, so early registration is recommended!

COURSE PREREQUISITES

In order to take the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty, you must first already be a PADI Advanced Diver, and you must be 15 years old.

It is also HIGHLY recommended that you are certified as a PADI EAN-Nitrox Diver.
